undoubtedly highlight of trip. did a lot of tours every day but this was amazing. if you never climbed (but happy to hike) you should do it. if you have climbed then you should definitely do it. the views are amazing on the trail. I was lucky to have Thomas as a guide, he was super considerate with the pace and I learnt so much on the way. was an amazing feeling to arrive at the top.

Sergio was a great guide! Very funny and knowlegeable about the mountain and the favela. Make sure to get ready for some good exercise. Because the hike can be difficult for those who are not in shape. But the view is magnificent!!

Our guide Jessie was super helpful and seamlessly organised the mototaxis and well timed pitstops. Couldn't recommend her enough. And the views were fantastic. However transport from the hotel would have been perfection.

100% recommended experience, Thomas is majestic and made the climb fly by. It is worth the excursion both for the nature part and for seeing the favela.

Eduardo was a fantastic guide and despite the weather not being great he still made the tour fun and interesting. Would definitely recommend.
