It is a somber experience and a reminder of how horrific war really is. The memorial park is well mapped and east to navigate. The 3D video ‘glasses’ gave a better perspective of what it would have been like on the day of the blitz. That was worth the $12.50 fee. Just remember to leave all purses, backpacks in your vehicle. They do provide lockers for those coming in on public transport. Cell phones, wallets, water bottles are allowed. Glad I didn’t miss out on this visit.

This is a great addition to add to your visit to Pearl Harbor. Please note that this price does not include the boat ride to the memorial site. I would recommend the audio tour for families with older children 9 and up as it adds to the understanding of this tragic day in American History.

The virtual reality tour is pretty awesome. We didn’t get boat tickets for the USS Arizona location. It would be nice to see where we need to book those. But other than that, being there is amazing, and listening to the audio of all the information that was there was great.
