What people are saying about Uxmal

This is a wonderful tour! Uxmal is the most beautiful ruin site and it was great to be basically the first tour group there while it was cool in the morning. The buffet lunch was excellent and again, we were the first group there. The location of the restaurant was beautiful! Then on to the hacienda which was very interesting. Our guide was very dramatic and his enthusiasm really added to the fun. I loved seeing how the henequene was processed into the fibres and made into ropes. Then we had a unique ride on a mule driven train car to the cenote for a very refreshing hour to cool off. All in all, the best overall tour I’ve had in Mexico and very good value for the money.

Small tour (6 people), nice ride (comfy vehicle) + AMAZING tour guide. Jorge was incredible, and we learned SO MUCH about Uxmal. We were a little bummed because we booked a tour for the ruins + Hacienda on a Sunday, and the Hacienda is closed on Sunday? Not sure why they'd let you book this tour on a day when that's not open...but? OK. We had a blast at the Chocolate Museum though. Very cool stuff!

The guide and the driver were considerate and helpful. The guide Guillermo was very informative and was very attentive to see that I didn't fall on any of the uneven rocks on the site. The hacienda and the cenote at the end was interesting, but the jewel in the crown was uxmal and I enjoyed the story of the mayans at the planeto and the lunch.

Great day. Good driving in nice van with AC. Arrived at Uxmal earlier before the crowds (not that there are many). Carlos was a good guide. Lunch excellent. Hacienda informative and fabulous cenote. Good value.

Very good trip excellent service and above all excellent explanation I highly recommend Carlos our guide
