  • Dénia: 90-Minute Sunset Catamaran Cruise

    6. Dénia: 90-Minute Sunset Catamaran Cruise

Set sail from Puerto Dénia and enjoy a sunset cruise on a luxury catamaran. Relax as you watch the sunset over the horizon.  Listening to chill out music with a glass of cava in your hand as you watch the sun go down. Enjoy the perfect end to the day with your loved ones on the Mediterranean Sea.

We took 1.5h sunset cruise from Denia. Loved the experience! Be careful with seat choice though. People sitting in the middle part of catamaran got soaking wet because of the waves, but I'd assume it really depends on the weather and wind direction. However, the crew immediately dropped the speed and lowered the sails to avoid this. Catamaran stopped for the last minutes when sun quickly disappears behind the mountains and offered complementary drinks, making this a memorable moment for everyone to truly notice and enjoy.

After pickup from your hotel, hop in to an open-topped Jeep and drive straight towards the lagoon and the lands surrounding it. With options to drive the Jeep yourself, or to sit back and relax while being driven by a guide, cater your experience to your tastes. Enjoy amazing views of the low-lying plateaus and cliffs overlooking the placid lagoon. Marvel at wind-swept sand dunes. Keep your eyes peeled for the myriad majestic bird species that call the area home, like massive heron, and peculiar varieties of duck. After covering significant ground driving, you’ll hop on a traditional fishing boat for a 45-minute boat ride. Afterwards, you’ll head to the pristine El Saler beach for a dip, accompanied by local tapas and soft drinks. Appetite sated, you’ll head back to your accommodation.

The trip to Albufera lake was excellent. Everything was very well organized and it ran like clockwork. The two guides were very friendly and polite and they took very good care of us. In our jeep we had Nicole as our driver. She was very considerate about my personal needs, as I have problems with my knees. Albufera is certainly a place worth visiting. The natural beauty of the area, and how well it is taken care of as a national park are amazing. We learnt a lot about the growing of rice in the area. We recommend it whole heartedly
