What people are saying about Valley of the Nuns

We really enjoyed this great half day tour. We were picked up from our hotel on time and had comfortable seats. The vehicle was clean and seemed well kept. Our guide, Spencer was fantastic. From the very start, he gave us loads of info about Madeira. We visited some great viewpoints and then headed for the 3rd highest peak in Madeira, Pico do Aerieiro. We were above the clouds and the view was something special. It was quite busy up there but it didn’t detract from the magic of looking down on clouds and mountain peaks. Nun’s valley is immense and the viewpoints high above give spectacular views. We can’t thank Spencer enough, he was brilliant (speaking English to us and then translating to German for another guest and also communicating with 2 chaps who were deaf). Sometimes we have had guides who are story tellers (probably made up). Spencer gave us factual info and was able to answer all of our questions. We would definitely book with Green Devil again. Thank you.

Loved it. Was exactly what I needed that day, after a hard hike the day before...somebody to drive you to nice places and tell you nice interesting things about the island.

Very good activity. He makes us see very beautiful things and goes through places that are difficult to access. Super friendly guide.

Great tour, very good very professional tour guide I recommend it to everyone

The tour was really fun and we learned a lot from our guide Spencer.
