This was fantastic and totally worth the money! My husband and I traveled to Rome, Florence and Venice in July 2018. We were on a budget and didn't want to bust the budget, so went with the "shared" gondola option and then splurged to have the serenade option. The experience was unforgettable and easily the best part of our whole trip! The singer and the man with the accordion had great chemistry and were constantly interacting w/ my husband and I. I thought the 20 mins sounded kinda short, but it ended up being the perfect amount of time. Do it at sunset around 7:30 if possible. Highly recommend this to all my family members and friends, it was simply enchanting and something my husband and I will never forget!
I enjoyed this activity, the only issue I had with it was the timing issues. I arrived early to "meet-up", the waiter had only basic knowledge of the setup time. This left me confused...was it just me or was I to wait. After a bit he suddenly knew what was to take place...more than likely because of the waitress that came in after the meet-up time. The menu and the food was fantastic. As well as the service. The next issue was the concert had started at 830pm (not 9pm) ....so I got to see about 1/2 of it (bummer). So like I said it all n oils down to communication/timing issues. Thanks.
I cannot recommend this highly enough. We did the dinner and concert. The restaurant didn’t seem to realize that the concert starts earlier in the winter and we were tight time wise, but the food was delicious. And hands down, this was an amazing concert. The setting was great. And the artists were wonderful. It was so enthralling to see their talent and energy as they performed each peace.
Meal was really good, easy restaurant to find but the tour operator sent us to the wrong church for the concert and by the time we got to the right one it had already started so had to stand outside until there was a break in the music. also timings need to be put a bit more important as during the winter months the music starts at 830pm and not 9
The performance (I saw Travaiata) was amazing, slightly interactive, and the music and acting was great. They offered us a glass of Prosecco in the first break. Thank you very much, I will come back to see other performances !
