From Mestre to Venice Lido Beach: Direct Speedboat Transfer
- Duration: 45 minutes
Avoid the crowded waterways of Venice and experience a relaxing gondola ride through some of the city’s hidden canals. Immerse yourself in the local culture with this quintessential Venitian experience. Be taken away from the main water routes and tourist sights as your gondolier navigates you with expertise and precision through some of the narrower, quieter canals of Venice. Get alternative views of the famous bridges and buildings as you pass them by. Discover canals so small that you can actually touch the buildings as you glide down the canals. Experience the real atmosphere of the city by taking part in an ancient Venetian tradition and travel like the locals used to do in days gone by.
Get straight to the beaches of Lido from the mainland with a direct speed boat service. Arrive at the beach ready to relax after boating in on a 45-50-minute journey. Skip the traffic from the historic center of Venice and avoid the long lines at the public jetties of Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto. Rest easy with guaranteed seating on the boat, unlike local public services where seating is first-come, first-served.
Explore the lands, aromas, and flavors of the Valpolicella region on a wonderful truffle hunting and food tasting adventure. Join an expert Tartafuro guide who will teach you how to hunt for scorzone (black summer) truffles in the woods and lands which surround an old winery in Verona. After the hunt, take a tour of the wine cellar. Enjoy a tasting of fine Valpolicella red wines paired with typical local food and scorzone truffles. Discover the intense aromas of the forest and how they combine with the incredible fragrances of Amarone wine. Savor all of these flavors from an amazing terrace which overlooks the magnificent Valpolicella region. Please note, truffle hunting is subject to seasonal closure. In winter, it will be replaced with a visit to the vineyard, the cellars and the farmhouse.

The truffle search was super interesting and the guide had a profound knowledge and could explain everything very well. We found 7-8 big truffles and many smaller ones with the dog. We also found flintstones. Finally, we ate delicious truffle pasta with the truffles we found ourselves and drunk various wines. Only recommended.
The winery is beautiful. Unfortunately we had bad weather, so we could not enjoy the view. The wine bar is very cozy, cheese and truffle spaghetti delicious. The wine tasting was interesting. We did not have much of the truffle search - due to the bad weather. Overall, however, everything was highly recommended. Annelie
