Full description
Experience Italian Opera in one of the most important Venetian-Gothic style palaces in Venice, Palazzo Barbarigo-Minotto. Within this historical venue, an innovative approach to opera has been conceived, with a formula thatĀ focuses on the interaction between the singers, the musicians, and the audience. This gives spectators the feeling of living Opera ā€˜from the inside’. This sensation is amplified by the clever 360-degree use of the ā€˜stage’ and by having the guests move through 3 different rooms within the Palazzo, one for each act of the show. The whole setting changes, not just the background. Reviving a tradition dating back to the late 1800s, this reimagining is brought to life by some of the finest lyrical voices, accompanied by a talented small group of strings and a piano: a virtuoso ensemble who performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.

Great idea to have sich an event, and in Venice out if all places. The organisation at arrival was nit very professional, but it got better with the performance. The Violetta and the father outstanding, Alfredo was not really the young lover one expects. But šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘, even though a bit pricey.

No complaints about the show. The directions should be improved. It was hard to find and no signs letting you know you are in the right place. We were told to arrive 30 minutes early. Other guests arrived At 7:50. They literally put a sign out at 8pm when they unlocked doors and the show did not start until 8:40 pm. Kinda annoying to arrive and wait over an hour.

A different opera experience. If you want to get close up to the actors and see the expressions on their faces this is for you. Divided into three rooms each scene is played out in a different room. Some rooms only candle lit. Excellent acting and singing. Highly enjoyable.
