It was great to see Venice from a locals point of view and the guide we had was quite knowledgeable about some of the history. We were looking more for guidance about local restaurants, bars and the best way of getting around which he was helpful on but to be honest Venice is such a maze we didn’t have much hope of finding these gems again!

Veronica was really helpful and knew many facts and pieces of information that helped us learn so much. She was very patient and kind and we could see how much she loves her City. Even with heavy rain she did her best to show us everything she could and tell us everything she knew about all the places and small details we saw.

We were lucky enough to get Miriam, a graduate student in art history, as our guide. She met us at our BnB and showed us the Mercato, the Rialto Bridge, and Basillica dei Frari. Along the way she also pointed out many hidden gems that would only be known to a local. She was concious of our physical limitations and so kind. She also showed us to a trattoria where we had a wonderful lunch. Miriam gave us a warm and wonderful introduction to Venice.
