Meet the guide/driver in the city-center, take a seat in a comfortable air-conditioned van, and start to enjoy this relaxed half-day tour in the Valpolicella wine region. During the journey, your guide will tell you about the local wines and the Valpolicella valley. Then, arrive at a beautiful winery, located in the heart of Valpolicella. Here an expert sommelier will show you the wine cellar and explain the secrets of production and show you how the wine is kept. Afterwards, sit around the table to taste some chosen wines, including the great Amarone. After taking some beautiful pictures in the gardens and vineyards, get back on board the van and make your way to the second winery for another tasting. After the tasting, you'll head back to Verona.

An amazing visit to two family run vineyards. Stefano was our guide for the afternoon. He gave us lots of information about the Valpolicella region as he drove us. We stopped first at Farini where Sylvia guided us from the vines through to the bottling. Then we tasted 6 different red wines. All equally delicious. These were accompanied by copious amounts of meat and cheese. Next we visited Villa Borghetti where we were again shown their winery. During the tasting of 5 wines we were given meats, cheeses, polenta, chocolate and biscuits to accompany each different red. And all of this in a 16th century cellar. Highly recommend this trip. Worth every cent.

An informative pleasure tour

We had a lovely morning in a small group with guide Nicole. We visited two wineries and, in addition to the legendary Amarone wine, also tasted Prosecco and white wine. In between there were delicious appetizers of cheese, salami and ham. Of course, you could also shop at every winery, not just wine but also olive oil, grappa, etc. An informative morning during our city trip to Verona. Any time!

An Absolutely Incredible Tour!

We had such an amazing time on this tour, with our fantastic guide, Leo. He was genuinely enthusiastic about wine and this area in particular, and he was so well-informed about the history of the region, and about wine. His friendly, professional and engaging approach made the tour entertaining and informative throughout. The two wineries we visited were both beautiful and unique. We were given a delicious antipasti platter at each, along with our tastings, filled with amazing local cheese, meats, bread and other treats. We also had a fantastic pasta dish at our second stop. The wines themselves were very good, and we had a chance to sample a great array at each. The tour was well organized and superbly run. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in wine in the area!
