We were very happy to skip the long line at The Arena. Our Tour guide was very friendly and informative. The tour is not really long but you are definitely getting your moneys worth. Think we would have been a little lost in the arena without her.

Once you have left the city-center, pass through the countryside to reach Sirmione. Here, have the option to enjoy a lake tour by boat, giving you the opportunity to see the beautiful peninsula from the water. Options may be limited by the weather, and the availability of the boat. This beautiful medieval village, includes a castle, and will make you feel like you are back in olden times. The town is full of narrow lanes, and old shops, also called ‘botteghe’. Here you have a choice to explore the town on your own, or follow your guide and explore this village together. After an hour of free time the group will meet back up, and return to Verona by van.

This cooking class was excellent! My partner and I found our chef Cristina to be very friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. She was very well organised and accommodating of any needs including taste preferences. The food we prepared was delicious and went down very nicely with a glass or two of wine.
After meeting with your local food guide, you will begin this 3-hour culinary experience. You simply need to choose a bike, get comfortable in the saddle and begin this delicious guided tour. The first stop will be a typical Osteria, which is mainly visited by local people. Here you will taste some of the typical nibbles such "Polpette", accompanied by a glass of Prosecco. Following this, you will continue toward the city center to stop at a second typical local Osteria. Here you will be able to sink your teeth into some of the famous dumpling bar's food dishes, partnering it with a good glass of Valpolicella red wine. After this stop, you will cycle past all the major historical sites, until you reach the final stage of your tour. In this last Osteria, you will have the chance to sample other famous white wines of the Verona area, as well as a much recommend and famous "Spritz Veneto...
Our guide Isabelle was great and gave us a lot of interesting details about the city! Also the three osterias we visited all offered us delicious snacks and wine. The bikes were comfortable and the length of the activity is just right! Thank you very much for showing us around! We definitely recommend the bike tour.

Very good guide and vineyard visits especially the first one. However sitting at the back of the bus we had great difficulty in hearing the guides commentary as the was no mike due to COVID restrictions.
