1. Luxembourg: Nature and Castle Day Tour
Embark on a hop-on-hop-off day tour and discover the history of Luxembourg, from the Middle Ages to the modern age, aboard a modern convertible bus. See the "Mullerthal" region with its breathtaking waterfall and walking trail, admire the Vianden Castle, and visit Echternach, the country's oldest city. Program of the day: 1. Mullerthal trail - Schiessentümpel: View the "Schiessentümpel" waterfall with its three water jets on the Black Ernz. Snap pictures at the most photographed site in the Mullerthal Region, Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. Begin a 45-minute walking tour. 2. One stop at Beaufort for 10 minutes to take some photos and admire the view. 3. Castle of Vianden Explore the small medieval town of Vianden and its imposing castle, which attracts thousands of visitors annually. Admire the imposing castle that overlooks the town, the town wall with its fortified towers, and the town's chairlift. During the stop, you have 2.5 hours of leisure time that you can plan for yourself. We recommend that you bring a snack if you don't want to waste time in a restaurant. Otherwise, the time might be too short. 4. The old town of Echternach: Continue to the city of Echternach, founded in 698 by the Benedictine monk Willibrord and the oldest town in Luxembourg. Visit the most beautiful places and buildings of Echternach, like the Basilica, the abbey, and the market square, during a 45-minute city tour. After the visit to Echternach, return to your original departure point at Boulevard de la Pétrusse in Luxembourg.
