Full description

Discover the charm of the medieval town of Vianden with a ride on the touristic Vianden Express train. Have the chance to alight at the chairlift and medieval castle during a return trip.

After boarding the train, set off on your exploration to see the Victor Hugo House and more. Upon arrival at the only chairlift in Luxembourg, take the opportunity to ride up to 440 meters (1,444 feet) for a panoramic view of the town.

Then, continue through the medieval alleys and along the fortress walls until you reach Vianden Castle, a national treasure and symbol of the feudal mansions of the Roman and Gothic periods. Here, get off to visit the castle for as long as you want. Finally, board the train again and return to your starting point.
