    1. Porto: Cálem Cellar Tour, Interactive Museum & Wine Tasting

In a healthful balance between Port tradition and new technologies, you will discover Douro region and Port wine – from “terroir” to the wine grapes, from the categories up to the aromas, trough our recently interactive museum, with personalized and intuitive access. In the guided visits to Cálem caves you will learn about the Douro Demarcated Region, know how the Port is produced and stay abreast of all the details of the history of this House. The cellars themselves remain active and visitable. It is there that you will learn more about the unique characteristics of each type of Port, even next to the barrels where they grow old, protected from light and heat. Then, you will be invited to a Cálem wine tasting: a white Port and a Tawny Port. With one of your guides, you will have the possibility to learn some more Port secrets and taste our wines.

Very knowledgeable and fun guide! Great choice for a rainy day in Porto, which was our case. :)

Celebrating some of history's most esteemed artists, current displays include Il Divino Michelangelo, Il Genio Da Vinci, Impressive Monet, and Brilliant Klimt. You will be able to access two of these (depending on option selected). The Immersivus Gallery Porto is located in the Porto Customs House. It aims to be a unique artistic reference point and diversify the cultural offerings of the city. The space is transformed into a monumental canvas with the content projected in 360º. I was uncertain of what to expect. There were very few visitors in the event space which I feel, allowed me to enjoy it more.

Most Porto visitors only get to explore the wine caves along the riverside, but we will also take you to the untapped food shops off the beaten path. Your day will begin with an espresso and traditional Pastel de Chaves (a pastry from a city northeast of Porto). We will then whisk you off for an exclusive guided tour and wine tasting at the oldest and still-functioning port wine cellar in the world. You’ll see vintage wines dating back to the 18th century and learn about the delicacy of wine tasting as you sample a wide selection of Ports. After a bit of sipping, you’ll be ready for some delicious local foo...
