    Sit back and enjoy your journey to Alto Alentejo region where you will visit the city of Évora, part of the Human Heritage list from UNESCO.

    The first place to explore is the Giraldo Square one of the most emblematic spots in town, right in the heart of the city. From there walk to 1st of May Square where you will find São Francisco Church and the Chapel of the Bones.

    After that, you can take a break to have lunch in one of the many restaurants in the Old Town. The next places to visit are the Cathedral of Évora and the Roman Temple of Diana dated from the 1st-century A.C.

    Finally, we go to the Medieval village of Monsaraz suspended in time, the historic village, one of the oldest in Portugal, is a mandatory destination, where you can freely explore the beautiful streets and go to the Castle.

    This village is on a top of a big hill and is surrounded by the biggest lake in Europe, so be ready to enjoy some 360º stunning views from up there before returning to the Algarve.
