In Old Dūkštas you'll visit Piliakalnis - get ready to visit the site of an ancient settlement and hear some interesting facts about the history of this place. Take some time for a short break before you set-off further up and down the hills, along the picturesque lakes and old-timey villages. Prepare to pedal a little more after this short break before you finish at the original starting location.

Here, you'll receive your very own Fat bike, helmet and receive a brief safety briefing to ensure the day goes smoothly.  Riding a fat bike instead of a regular mountain bike allows you to get through otherwise impassable woodland areas such as muddy off-road, iced and snowy hills and swampy terrain. However, the low pressure in the bike's tires also means that riding such a bike is physically demanding. Ride your bike very fast, down and up the hills, close to swamps, lakes, and high lake shores. Inhale the tangy etheric smells of pine trees, feel the fresh air on your fingers and don't forget to look around! There will be a few stops to enjoy the nature views and catch your breath. Finish the tour at the same place you started.

Starting at the so-called “Bike Den” meeting point in Visaginas, meet your guide and head off towards the Smalvos lake riding an all-terrain fatbike. Cycle through dense forests, along beautiful lakes, and up and down hills. In winter, immerse yourself in a snowy forest fairy tale and enjoy the silence of sleeping nature in the Gražutė Regional Park. The first stop of the day will be at a meadow with picturesque views over the lake and forests. It's time for you to enjoy the surroundings over a cup of hot tea with a snack and be inspired by the atmospheric natural scenery. Hear local stories and legends, learn interesting facts about the native flora and fauna, and possibly spot some wildlife. Your hot tea and snacks will support you through the next phase of your ride. Make the final stretch to the location of the sauna where you’ll enjoy a relaxing 3 hours in a cozy atmosphere. Feel the heat of the traditional sauna and taste some special tea brewed with local herbs then enjoy a delicious hot lunch cooked over open fire. Your guide will show you how to take the most of the sauna experience and in summer you can take a refreshing swim in the open waters of a wild lake, or test yourself by jumping into an ice hole in the winter. After the sauna, you’ll be taken back to Visaginas town or train station by a private transfer. You can then catch a return train to Vilnius or plan for an extra day spent in Visaginas enjoying the beauty, quietness, and rich cultural life.

The starting point for this tour is at the so-called "bike den" in Visaginas, which is only a 2-minute ride from a thick pine forest, and a 5-minute ride from the boundary of the Gražutės Regional Park. Once at the meeting point, you'll receive a full safety briefing before being given a fat bike, helmet and a high-visibility vest. You will then head off towards the Smalvos Lake. On this tour you will visit Smalvo peninsula, the beavers' den, cranes' houses and observe the headwaters of the Smalvos river. Half-way through the tour there will be a stop at a meadow with picturesque views over the lake and forests, where it will be time for you to enjoy the surroundings over a cup of hot tea with a snack. Prepare to pedal a little more after this short break in order to finish the tour in the same place as you started.
