Very well worth booking this. Only downside was out of his control, that being that the cable car was closed for maintainence. Otherwise some gorgeous views, a friendly and clear guide who knew Skopje well, and the tour of Makta Canyon was wonderful. Do go on the boat trip when you get there, it cost around an extra €10 ish.

Vladimir was such a good tour guide, he explainedall the historical and cultural things there is to talk about and even made overall suggestion about my trip in Skopje. I definitely recommend it especially in winter because of transportation.
