Full description

Go on an adventure through history on a tour of Warsaw. Ride in an original Polish socialistic car, the Nysa 522, as you travel all across the city, learning about various historical facts and seeing the most important sites related to the socialist era.

Experience the bygone era of socialism through the typical blocks of flats, monumental palaces, squares, and sculptures. See the different faces of Warsaw: from the yards of XIX-century tenement houses to Constitution Square, the Palace of Culture and Science, Próżna street, Muranów District, and pre-war Praga on the other side of the river.

As you travel along, your tour guide will entertain you with facts and anecdotes about life in Warsaw. Meanwhile, you will get a lesson on socialist propaganda in the form of news. In Praga, you will see unconventional sites: from a bazaar, where you could buy almost anything, or to the quiet Jewish cemetery. See an old Vodka factory, and finally visit a famous local band, who will play a song just for you.

It was an amazing tour with Artur ! he was super knowledgeable of the history, fun facts as well as was super precise with numbers and dates. We could tell he knew a lot and he is a real Warsaw local. The mini van is not comfortable but we only go with it for short distances. We had an authentic lunch at a milk bar, saw many interesting faces of Warsaw you could not find in any guide as well as had a good overview of the city history. You do this tour and complement with the must see attractions and you have an exhausted experience of Warsaw. We also 100% recommend Artur as a guide. Lot of the success of the tour is on his shoulder and he smashes it.

Absolutely loved the experience! The van is so cute and a really unique way to travel around the city. The highlight was definitely the traditional Polish lunch in a milk bar... I'm a fussy eater but everything was absolutely delicious and definitely something I wouldn't have tried otherwise! Saw lots of cute and interesting places we never would have discovered otherwise. Thank you so much!

Our guide, Artur, was knowledgeable and shared so much with us. He gave extra inside info, as a local who grew up in Warsaw. He was personable and eager to connect with us and make relevant bridges to help all guests understand and learn more. We enjoyed his insider knowledge, learning tidbits ranging from Finnish houses to political controversies - both historical and modern. Overall, the day was a great day out!
