10. DC: Tour with U.S. Capitol Ground Access

Join your expert live guide, both on and off a climate-controlled touring bus, for an entertaining, fact-filled tour highlighting the history, culture, architecture, and sights of this beautiful city.
Your day includes the city's important monuments and memorials (listed below) including the exterior of the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, a guaranteed visit inside the United States Capitol building, and access to the top of the Washington Monument. From April to October, you’ll also take a 1-hour boat ride on the lovely and historic Potomac River to experience DC's monuments and views from the unique perspective of the water.
Your visit to the U.S. Capitol includes the visitor's center and a guided tour of the crypt, rotunda, and National Statuary Hall, where you can take pictures and hear a wealth of information about this one-of-a-kind place where history is made every day.
Upon leaving, board the bus for a city tour of the most important monuments and memorials, while seeing and learning about other points of interest as your guide narrates along the way. At each stop, your guide will accompany you on foot giving an informative, insider's view and great photos of each special place, before conveniently boarding the bus again.
Your day also includes hard-to-get tickets to the newly renovated and reopened Washington Monument with its incomparable views of the National Mall and beyond. You will also have a lunch break at either the Georgetown waterfront (April-October) or The Wharf (October-April) where you can purchase lunch from one of several delicious locations.
