Amazing museum except for two or Three complaints I have. One, history it really wasn’t presented in a factual manner. The first church to ever begin was the Orthodox Church. Second, very little if no information on why Jesus Christ went to the cross for our salvation and for our eternal life. Three, no hand sanitizer for people to use in the middle of this horrible pandemic. Thank You

If you believe in the Bible and in the God of the Bible you must visit this extensive collection; the most comprehensive display of Bible history, archaeology, literature, memorabilia, and relevant artifacts that demonstrate that the Bible is the most important book ever given to mankind. If you are an atheist or agonistic this museum will amaze you and persuade you to carefully consider the efficacy of this book. Six floors jam packed with videos, interactive exhibits, animated displays of all kinds, it is a dazzling, fascinating, state-of-the-art museum, with a hip vibe that should appeal to all ages.

Go!

Awesome display of Bibles and the History and impact of the Bible. I would recommend starting on the 4th floor and working your way down. The 4th floor has the old and historic Bibles. We only had about 4 hours and for some in our group that was not nearly long enough. I got my tickets online which allowed entry 1 hour before the official open time. Definitely nice to get in before the big crowds. The cafe is very good but like most of DC is pricey.
