I booked this trip for my elderly parents. They absolutely loved it and haven't stopped talking about it since they returned last week. In particular, they commented on how friendly and helpful all involved were. I can personally vouch for Golden Bay Air - always helpful and quick to reply to my emails when I was sorting the booking out. While I haven't yet done the trip myself, I couldn't recommend this more highly and look forward to following in my parents' footsteps by doing the trip with my wife in the next wee while.
The whole experience was excellent, our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The choice of wineries was excellent. Poppies was outstanding and our host Poppy was so passionate about the wine, just delightful. Lunch at Poppies was superb and dinner at Brac & Bow was perfect. The scenery of the Wairarapa Coast is as it is described, “wild” and the seal colony was a highlight. Highly recommend this Zozo tour.
We enjoyed a fantastic day with our well informed and amiable guide. The tour gave us a great opportunity to experience a closer touch with New Zealand away from the standard group tours. Phil remained flexible and approachable to minor customizing of our day to suit the needs. His familiarity with the area and the local venues paid off with a great personalized feeling to the experience. A very highly recommended experience.
