Savour lunch by the sea at the renowned Chocolate Fish Cafe, a casual and quirky outpost that serves seafood sandwiches, burgers and salads.  After lunch, continue along the rugged coastline around to Red Rocks. Head off-road to see the seal colony (seasonal). Return to the city for a cable car ride, then walk through the picturesque Botanical Gardens to the Lady Norwood rose gardens. Visit the iconic Beehive, Parliament buildings, and Wellington's oldest church. Finish your day at Wright Hill, a historic military site with views over the greater Wellington region.
