4. From Warsaw: Krakow & Wieliczka Small Group Tour with Lunch

This tour starts in Warsaw. You will be picked up by English speaking driver from your hotel. First you will visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, which was built in the 13th century and produced table salt continuously until 1996. Under the ground level you will find salt sculptures, lakes, and unbelievably spectacular chambers. More than 1 million tourists visit the mine annually – not without any reason. Afterward, your driver will take you for lunch in a local restaurant either in Auschwitz or in Krakow depending on the timing. In Krakow, a local guide will take you on a tour around the city. You will see among others the Town Hall Tower, St. Mary’s Basilica, Krakow Barbicane, and ‘Sukiennice‘ (Cloth Hall). Some of its oldest stone buildings can be dated back to the 10th century. In a cave at the foot of the hill, on the bank of the Vistula River, Wawel Dragon had his lair – the dragon’s cave is now a popular tourist stop. After the tour, you will come back to Warsaw around 22:00.

Brilliant trip. Picked up from hotel on time and dropped at a place of our choice afterwards. Driver was friendly and gave us loads of information about the areas and history of Krakow on the journey. Salt mine was amazing but be prepared for a half hour walk underground after the tour finishes to get to the lift which then brings you into the city.

Great activity. Pick-up from hotel and drive through Krakow with guided tour in minibus. Driver very polite and friendly and gave lots of knowledge on the way to the salt mines. Would definitely recommend. Advice, we thought the mine would be cold but it was about 15 Degree Celsius so once inside you don't need lots of layers or a big coat.

Martin our driver was superb. On our way to the sakt mines he drove us around the Jewish quarter and explained alot about the history and pointed out places we may like to visit during our stay. it was very kind of him to do this and an unexpected treat.

everything was excellent from being picked up the guided tour and dropped off again very interesting informative and very pleasant efficient staff would highly recommend

The trip started a bit later than planned, however I still had a great time. One of the must see sights in Krakow.
