Be collected at your accommodation by your friendly driver and travel to Setumbu Hill for 5:00 AM. Witness the breathtaking Borobudur sunrise views. When the air is fresh and as the mist begins to lift the sun will surround the volcanoes and terraced fields. You will leave at dawn.  Choose the additional option to explore the UNESCO listed Borobudur Temple, just 4 kilometers from Setumbu Hill. Be the first of the day to enter the gates as they open. Borobudur is one of the world's truly great ancient monuments and is the single largest Buddhist structure anywhere on earth. You can continue your journey and visit the nearby Mendut and Pawon Temples, which are positioned in a straight line with Barabudur for an unknown ritual process. 

Be collected at your accommodation in Yogyakarta then travel for three hours to Cetho and Sukuh Temples. Pass by the slope of Mount Lawu, the surrounding area provides an impressive view of the expansive tea plantations and rice fields against the backdrop of hills and towering mountains.  From these neighboring temples, head to Mangkunegaran Palace. After an hour and a half, arrive in the heart of Solo City, which is well-known as the sister city of Yogyakarta. Explore this Javanese legacy at your own pace or hire a local guide to learn about the history of this city. Enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant in Solo.  Last but not least, explore the ancient Batik Museum in Solo City. Find collections of artefacts from times before the colonization and about five years after the Indonesian independence in 1950. Sit back and relax as your driver escorts you back to you accommodation for 6:00 PM.

Snap photos of the temple complex learn more about the history and religions of the region. See the temple that is locally known as the Roro Jonggrang Temple, or the Temple of the Slender Virgin. View the eight shrines, of which the three main ones are dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. Marvel at the main temple of Shiva which rises to a height of 130 feet and houses the magnificent statue of Shiva's consort, Durga. Admire the 224 temples in the complex. Learn about how the temple was rediscovered, revitalized and made a heritage site in 1991 by UNESCO. Journey to what is widely regarded as the most beautiful and graceful Hindu temple in Indonesia.

After sunrise, explore the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple, the single largest Buddhist structure on earth. Be the first of the day to enter the gates as they open. This is one of the world's greatest ancient monuments. After visiting Borobudur, you will travel  for 1.5 - 2 hours to Prambanan Temple. Spend 2 hours exploring Prambanan. This temple was built in the tenth century, this is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. See the three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma) and three temples dedicated to the animals who serve them. After finish exploring Prambanan, you will head back to your hotel, you have the option to stop for lunch on the journey back.
