Relaxed and enjoyable

I enjoyed this tour with Tufan as my driver. Got to the sultan's place early so crowds were not big as yet (it was Sunday),wandered around then went to the Tamansari (water palace),interesting but a pity that you get no idea why it is called Flower garden. Did it look likr the Alhambra's Generalife with all its flowers and gardens? It would have been a delight if so but now is only a shadow. After this, the choice was between the Borobudur and Prabanan temples;chose the latter in view of Sunday crowds and wanting to see the other at sunrise. Do visit this temple! Then back to my hotel in the good hands of Tufan. If the thought of being in Indonesian traffic makes your toes curl, don't worry - you can relax on this trip.

Best Guide ever!

Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir „Ivan“ als Guide hatten. Er konnte perfektes englisch, hatte extrem viel Hintergrundwissen, war authentisch und lustig! Des Weiteren war er flexibel mit Sehenswürdigkeiten so konnten wir zum Beispiel zusätzlich die Chicken Church besuchen. Der Tag war ein voller Erfolg. Wir haben viel gelacht, vieles gesehen und durften extrem viel über die Sehenswürdigkeiten und dem Land lernen. :) Mit Ivan hatten wir den besten Guide den wir je hatten! Eine kleine Kritik: In der Beschreibung steht man besucht beide Tempel. Leider ist das nicht so. Man muss sich für einen von beiden entscheiden.
