Full description
Take in the stunning beauty of Yosemite National Park from 3,200 feet above the valley floor at sunset. Meet your guide and small group of maximum 10 people with a pickup from the Yosemite View Lodge located right at the western border of the park. Head into the park and up the mountain, past towering pines and fragrant incense cedars towards the Sentinel Dome Trailhead. From there, you'll leave the crowds behind as you hike up an easy, 1-mile (1.6-kilometer) trail to the top of the dome. Take once-in-a-lifetime photos of this UNESCO World Heritage Site with sweeping panoramic views of the glacier cut valley and massive granite monoliths. Admire breathtaking views from over 7,000 feet (2,230 meters) in elevation. Toast the magic hour with a glass of champagne and small bites as the last rays of the day fade into early evening. As you make your way back to the van, an expert guide will help you back down the trail towards the road where you will return to your drop-off in El Portal.

Phil was our guide and he's awesome, super chill and very accommodating and patient, always aware if anyone in the group was slow walking and needed stops to rest. This sunset Seminal Dome Tour was spectacular. Incredible views and definitely worth the price. The climb up is not hard but the last 1,000 feet are uphill but you're walking on granite which gives you good footing. Bring a flashlight as you need it going down, the sun set so it gets dark. While up on top of dome the views are stunning. Bring a good camera or use a good cell phone camera, you won't regret it. You don't need big backpacks so just bring a small one with whatever is light to carry. You really don't even need a bag, just water container and flash light. If can get cold up top so, bring a sweatshirt or light jacket. The food and drinks Phil provided us was good. The drive up to this place is winding twisting roads so, if you get car sick take dramamine or sit up front. I booked all Yosemite tours and so happy!

It’s a challenging hike for a non hiker but totally worth it so beautiful! Maybe recommend a backpack ahead of time as it was awkward to carry the food up.
