- Duration: 2.5 hours
This leisurely tour is good for both holidaymakers, and those who wish to spend a little longer in Zadar, as you will know where to go and what to do during your holiday. Join this tour to explore through some of Zadar´s most diverse and exciting parts. Explore the city, have fun, stop and smell the salty sea air, or chill with a drink in one of the fine beach bars. Outside the old city walls you will have the chance to see beautiful waterfront coast with marinas, stop at Zadar´s Sphinx, Puntamika Lighthouse and Beach, climb up the hill to the viewpoint, cycle through Arbanasi and Kolovare. Finish the tour appreciating the sun while listening to the sea organ - an architectural object and experimental musical instrument, which plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps.
Fully equipped, you will go on a bike adventure at your own schedule and your own pace. The Ugljan Island, also known as "the Green Island" has plenty of bays, beaches and small fishing villages spread along the coast that keeps the secret about their past and the hard life of fishermen. From the lookout, St. Michael spreads a breathtaking view of the city of Zadar, the Velebit Mountain and numerous small islands. With a little bit of luck along with clear skies, you can even see the Italian coast. A fun downhill awaits you along the gravel path to the village of Kali, the place where the most successful fishermen on the Mediterranean live. In a traditional island tavern, you can taste fresh traditional Mediterranean food that will fill you with powerful energy. After lunch, you can take a swim on one of many sandy beaches or visit the Franciscan monastery on the small island of Škojić...

About 20 kilometers with about 100 meters of altitude round trip around Zadar. First right along the sea, with a stop in the bar, then it went up a gentle mountain to a great view of Zadar. Downhill back along the new sports facility to the very beautiful coast and the Kolovare beach. Zadar is not really geared towards cyclists yet, so it was perfect for us to be out and about with a guide who knows their way around. Bruno was a very communicative, personable and competent guide and we felt very comfortable with him. Bicycles were in pristine, very good condition! Tour very entertaining and recommended!
I recommend. I would never have reached so many charming places by myself. it is worth going 3 km uphill. wonderful sight. our route was over 20 km. only take plenty of water or you will burn some calories. there are stops for stories and wonderful views
very interesting tour about the history of Croatia in general and Zadar in particular ! Alaxandar is a top guide!
It’s like the father-son experience I’ve never had.
Great island, nice staff at the bike rental place.
