3. Zagreb to Split Private Transfer with Stop at Plitvice Lakes

The tour starts with a morning departure from your accommodation in Zagreb. Just an 1.5-hour drive away is the first stop in the idyllic watermill village of Rastoke. It has a similar natural phenomena occurring as the Plitvice Lakes and it is often referred to as 'the Small Lakes of Plitvice.' See the unique structure of well-preserved wooden watermills on the waterfalls of river Slunjcica. The village found its place at the foot of Napoleon’s army in the 19th-century since the area of Rastoke was actually the eastern border of Napoleon’s Empire. It has an important autochthonous ecologic and ethnographic legacy. After the tour and coffee in Rastoke village, you will continue to National Park Plitvice Lakes, only a 20 minute drive away. The tour of the national park will take approximately 3 to 4-hours and will include hiking along both the upper and lower lakes, a boat ride over the big lake and a train ride through park area at the end. What people are saying about Zagreb

Overall a great tour!! Our driver and guide, Marin, was professional and knowledgeable. We felt safe during the long drive, and his guidance through Plitvice Lakes provided for an awesome experience; we went to areas where many tourists didnt seem to go, which was nice. Less crowded and more rustic / more waterfall views. This tour also makes a “pit stop” at Rastoke which makes for a good 20-min walk / leg stretch visiting a quaint and beautiful village that’s filled with natures beauty. It’s almost as if the saying “a fresh breath of air” was named on behalf of Rastoke.

Rastoke is a short stop on the way to Plitvice. Beautiful village. Then Plitvice was more that i expected. amazing reservation, a lot of walk on a wooden path way. scenery was amazing.

It was an amazing experience!!! Our guide Luka was awesome, very polite person and we had an excellent day trip!! We recommend this tour to everyone!!!

Our tour guide Marko was great! Learned so much about Croatia and he was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
