Take a stroll with us for a couple of hours as we show you the highlights of Zagreb. Your guide will have the local insights and handy tips to leave you wanting to explore some more.

Start the tour at Zagreb’s famous Zrinjevac Park which will give you some great selfies and photo opportunities. From the park, continue to Bogovićeva street, known for its bars and restaurants. Next, you will walk across Ban Jelačić square to the next stop at the historic Zagreb Cathedral.

After the Cathedral, walk through Dolac Farmers Market to the WW2 tunnels for some more recent history about the city. Enjoy a small rest on the funicular to the top of Grič Hill. At the top of the hill is Gradec (the upper town) where you can take in beautiful panoramic views of the city.

From Gradec, descend to Tkalčićeva Street. The street is also famous for its bars and restaurants, so you can decide where to stop for a snack. Finish the tour in Ban Jelačić Square.

Excellent guided tour, with a lot of insight in history, city development and buildings. Our guide, Lucija, is very knowledgeable and you can tell, she loves to share her knowledge, she loves her city and her country. We had sufficient time to ask questions and discuss, get a coffee - and to take pictures. Walking distances were convenient. This tour gave me a new way to see this city. I recommend it to everyone as a start to their Zagreb experience.

A great introduction to Zagreb, both to spot the interesting locations to find our way around but also to get a good understanding of the Croatian history. Our guide Lucy is very knowledgeable and gave us a very inspiring walk around the city centre, historic places and helped with recommendations for the remaining days of our stay in Zagreb. The tour is highly recommended. And will leave you with a very good understanding of not only the history of Zagreb and Croatia, but also give you the opportunity to take great photos of the beautiful city

My husband and I have taken many city walking tours in Europe and the Americas, and we absolutely found this to be THE BEST. Goran, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable. He gave a brief history of Croatia that was politically balanced, informative, and compelling. This continued throughout the 2.5+ hour tour, where he told us much about Zagreb and Croatia's political and cultural background, folding in various small facts and personal insights. He also has a fantastic personality, answering questions from profound to mundane concisely and with a sincere interest that we grasp the point. The tour itself was structured very well, with a relaxed pace that allowed for questions and discussion and a duration that covered a lot of the city, so I would expect that experiences with other tour guides could also be solid. That said, it was clear that our stellar experience was largely due to Goran's knowledge and personality. Thanks so much!
