This was a good short 2 hour tour to see nature and the birds. Not too far away from the city. Tour guide was essential as we saw many birds and things we otherwise would not have seen if we were just walking around on our own. Grant was very professional and friendly and made the experience very enjoyable.

The tour is also suitable for inexperienced people, provided that you can walk for 3 hours. We saw a lot of birds, including the rare takahe and two kiwis. Glowworms, wetas, and an enormous number of rare bridge lizards (Tuataras) were also seen. Very competent guide. Even if it is relatively expensive, it was 100 percent worth it.
