What people are saying about Zipaquirá, Colombia

So very well done and organized. I prefer to do things on my own time and find my own way, but this was so convenient and the guides were so nice. We got back around 4:30 PM, I was a bit worried about the timing because I was on a layover in Bogota but I was the only one a little late getting out of the mine Our timeline: Check @ 9 Arrive at park in Zipaquira @ 11 Got to mine around 11:45 Exited @ 2, to restaurant 3 PM ish left Back at 4:30 The mine is stunning and incredible with the lights! Fascinating to learn about the geologic history, which you can hear in English too if needed (I listened to both). The live guide had more to say in Spanish so prioritize that if you speak Spanish of course. But the English audio was great too, and included in price

don't miss this trip. Guides were great and so friendly and helpful. Everything was perfectly arranged and we were well looked after. Not to mention the spectacular salt cathedral. get the audio guide if you prefer not to be in a big group of 40 plus people.... definitely just as informative and you get to spend longer taking photos or simply enjoying the experience.

The guides are super friendly and attentive, the time of the excursion is adequate, they offer free time in the town and plenty of time to explore the salt cathedral, which is impressive and majestic. They take you to a place to have a super delicious lunch with live music and I loved the detail that they put the flags of the countries we are on the tables.

The trip was very enjoyable. Really unique place. Included some time to look around the town too. The guide led an English tour

Trip was very good but not understanding Spanish, we had some difficulties. overall, it was a good trip.
