Full description

Enjoy a day trip from Zurich to the winter wonderland of Mount Titlis with a guide. Discover the beauty of Lucerne, enjoy a scenic drive to Engelberg, experience an unforgettable adventure on the Ice Flyer chairlift, and cross the Titlis Cliff Walk bridge suspended over the Swiss Alps. Departing from Zurich, take a bus ride over the Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne on the way to the city of Lucerne. Along the way, your tour guide will point out the city's most important sights and include a photo stop at the Lion Monument or the lakeside, depending on traffic. Afterward, enjoy some free time to explore Lucerne on your own. From there, continue the journey to Engelberg. The breathtaking ride up into the high alpine glaciers of Mount Titlis begins here. From the Rotair revolving cable car on your way up to the mountain, get spectacular views of the deep crevasses in the glaciers, and the immense chunks of ice that break off in spectacular fashion. Enjoy incredible views over the Swiss Alps from the Panorama Restaurant on top of Mount Titlis. Visit the Ice Grotto, or take the Ice Flyer chairlift to get up close to the glaciers at an altitude of over 9,800 feet (3,000 meters). Adventure seekers can slide through the snow and down the mountainside on a snow tube – the choice is yours.

Absolutely fantastic, the tour guide was very lovely, informative and engaging during the journey. Mt Titlis is a must go to, there was much more to do than expected and the views are spectacular. The glacier cave was also brilliant. Just wear suitable footwear with a good grip.

This was such an enjoyable tour! The guide was excellent in all languages and the driver was very safe as well. I enjoyed learning about the history while touring. It's a long day but you get to see many different areas with an opportunity for food and bathroom breaks. The scenery is inexplicable and makes for a great background for photos.

We really enjoyed our trip and was pleasantly surprised with the stops too. You get a 10 minute stop about an hour in which has a gorgeous view and our tour guide showed us some lovely photos of the king. We then travelled to a gorgeous town where you got an hour to enjoy, we were told to try a local bakery to which we did and decided to bring the food on the board for when we get home that night. Unfortunately agyer our trip to the mountain we came back to find all our area had been cleared and £15 of cakes/baked goods were thrown in the bin :( we were happy to clear all our area up as we got off the bus but unfortunately the driver clearly wanted to be clean and didn’t check to see our food was in fact in the packaging still :( The mountain however was amazing very cold, so bring layers! If you have time I’d recommend doing a ski experience or sledging to be honest you have plenty of time up there! We even had a drink at the pub at the bottom after! Great value for money
