Hosted by the infamous Moron Twins, Dannie and Danny Moron, this frolic around Savannah will give you all the inside gossip on practically every important moment that has transpired throughout Savannah’s deep, complex, and intoxicating (and intoxicated) past and present. Learn about the founding of the colony of Georgia to the Civil War; hear little known Paula Deen trivia; and understand why every tourist must take a selfie on the Forrest Gump bench.

Savannah: Bonaventure Cemetery with Shannon Scott

10. Savannah: Bonaventure Cemetery with Shannon Scott

Stroll around the live oak avenues of the Cotton Boom yesteryear and hear about the people that made all of those buildings and squares in town so infamous and colorful.  Some of the characters, such as "Crooner of 1500 Songs" Johnny Mercer and writer Conrad Aiken, are world-renowned, while others you will come to love were famous only in their hometown Savannah. Other characters consist of photographers, painters, scientists, soldiers, industrialists, and duelists. Bonaventure is characterized by great sculpture and here you will see the works of some of the greatest artists of their period.  The cemetery is a visual playground of symbols pertaining to everything from the Masonic Lodge mentioned in Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code to the Bible, Ancient Egypt, and everything symbolizing the religious, fraternal, and eternal.  From angels to cherubs to lifelike figures of the people buried there, you'll get to see them all.

This was a fabulous tour of Savannah! The open air bus was super comfortable and we would highly recommend this company for anyone wishing to learn all about this beautiful city! Our tour guide/driver Cainan was just amazing with his knowledge of the city’s history and landmarks, and his sense of humour during the tour was absolutely delightful! We chose the hop on and off ticket, but decided to just stay on his bus, as we wanted to experience his version of the tour, and we were headed to Tybee so time was a bit tight for this excursion . We’ll be back again and definitely get off and explore more next time as there are lots of buses running regularly to get people around the city in comfort. Thanks again!

Our guide Sally made the tour fun and informative. The variety of food and drink was delicious. It was nice getting to know the other people on the tour and getting to know the various sections of historic Savannah and all the back stories.

We were very impressed with the young man who gave our tour. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. After the tour we talked to him for a few minutes and learned that he’s a history major. We could definitely tell! Very impressive!👍

So glad we booked this tour, it was funny from the very beginning to the end! Haven't laughed that hard in awhile! Thank you for a great time. We highly recommend this tour!
